A NAS is therefore a good idea, especially if it offers RAID protection. No more losing those family pics. Not quite the windows solution but apps are constantly being developed. 1, Best app I found for accessing my servers music so far i 2PLAYER. down side is not all apps offer wi-fi network access. so my next must have app is 2, CIFSMANAGER - ideally program for creating network access at a local level. 3, DAROON PLAYER - add in your local "network" folder into additional file directories and you can even watch your favourite DVD's. - all reviews seen show you have to convert..!!! no just add in a network DVD drive and you can access a DVD through a networked resource. we need more netorkable apps Tablets dont store much data. That is why scrabble is one of my favorite game. I would like to share the app that I found. It is called BallFallDown by FlatPack Interactive. It is an Entertainment App that allows users to take an empty iPad screen -"board"- and construct thier own interactive game. You can make all sorts of things including a pinball machines. Although probably built for kids, my husband and I have spent hours playing with this app after the kids of put up the iPad and went to bed. It is free in iTunes. You guys can check it out also.
