Android mobile apps developers have recently re-done some of its applications to better suit its new operating system that was just released, Honeycomb. Several applications also got an upgrade to better suit tablets screens and increased functionality.
Honeycomb tablet apps, like Plume and Catch Notes were created specifically for tablets, and cannot be used on smartphones. Other applications, like Google Earth and CNBC can be used on smartphones, but lack the detail that a larger screen provides.
Pinball HD is another application that was created specifically for tablets, and uses motion technology similar to that used by Apple. We should expect to see several more applications being developed for Honeycomb and Android tablets in the coming months.
